The photographs shown here are taken during the repair phase of making my door at Edinburgh College. I had to use diamond and dovetail patches to fill in the holes created when I attached the door furniture to the panel door I made. First of all I had to chisel out around the holes so that the patches would fit, then plane them back so they would be invisible. By the end I felt a lot more comfortable in making a neat and tidy job of this technique.
