This was the last project for my pre-apprentice joinery course in which I had to make a hatch, install joists, base plates. I then had to cut the tongue and groove flooring to size on each side of where the hatch was to be positioned. Secured the floorboards using screws. Finally I made the hatch and fitted it into the hole.
